Simply put, Uprooted is a local food market & cafe. But the people around Musquodoboit Harbour know that it is SO much more than that. After learning about the negative impacts of our current food systems, and gaining a deep appreciation of local food culture while in Dublin, Ireland, Emma decided to return to her hometown to put a very different spin on the traditional ‘local coffee shop’. Join us online to hear how Emma got Uprooted Market & Cafe off the ground… and created a connection point for her rural community in the process!
